Community banking to community building
Chase provides resources to help expand access to banking, and boost financial health and inclusion among Black, Hispanic and Latino communities.
Chase has hired more than 300 community managers, home lending advisors and senior business consultants.
Community-focused roles build trust
Community Managers
· Build and nurture relationships with community leaders, non-profit partners and small businesses at the neighborhood level
· Provide coaching and resources to residents on budgeting, saving and building credit
· Offer free financial workshops
Community Home Lending Advisors
· Guide residents through the homebuying process
· Provide information on homeownership programs, tools and resources
Senior Business Consultants
· Help entrepreneurs start, manage and grow their businesses
· Provide access to free coaching, mentorship and technical assistance
In 2021, Chase hosted over 1,300 financial health workshops, reaching more than 36,000 people.
Community Center branch locations
The first Community Center branch opened in 2019 in Harlem, New York. Today there are 12 locations.
